As a medical student working in a neuro-oncology research lab, Manuri witnessed patients who had exhausted all traditional medical options yet struggled to find and access potentially lifesaving clinical trials. That’s where the idea for HealthMatch was born – connecting people with the latest treatments around the world. Since launching in 2017, the business has gone through incredible growth raising over $25M and winning the inaugural Australian version of TechCrunch Startup Battlefield. In 2019, Manuri appeared in the Forbes list of 30 under 30 as a featured honouree in healthcare and sciences. Her passion lies in bringing clinical data and digital technologies to improve the inefficiencies in delivering better healthcare.
